Living in Benissa

The old village of Benissa sits at about 255 metres above sea level. Its neo-Gothic church of the Puríssima Xiqueta was inaugurated in 1929 and is known as the Cathedral of the Marina. The municipality has close to 12,500 inhabitants. From the villa, Alicante airport is about 50 minutes by car.
