Inside the home

Lounge, dining area and kitchen share the top floor, where most of the light comes in. In the cooler months a wood burner heats the lounge, and in summer air conditioning keeps the house cool. The kitchen has been completely renewed with new appliances and a modern finish. The whole house has been carefully looked after, and mosquito screens on the windows keep insects out.

Outdoor living

The lounge continues onto a sunny terrace, and a covered terrace offers shade at other hours. The fenced 608 m² plot has a low-maintenance garden with a pool about three metres deep, surrounded by terraces and seating areas. There is a small play area for children, automatic irrigation and a decorative fountain. Remote-controlled gates lead to the garage, which has a charging point for an electric car.

Living in Jávea

Jávea lies on the coast between Dénia and Cap de la Nau, at the southern foot of the Montgó. The Arenal beach, with its restaurants and cafés, is a short drive from the villa. The historic centre still follows its medieval street plan, with narrow lanes, white façades and buildings of tosca stone. Every Thursday morning a street market is held on the Plaza de la Constitución. From Jávea, Dénia is about 12 km by road, some twenty minutes by car.
