Living in Gata de Gorgos

Gata de Gorgos sits at about 78 m above sea level on the river Gorgos, with the Serra del Castellar rising to the south. The traditional trade here is weaving with wicker, palm, dwarf palm and esparto. Baskets, espadrilles and furniture are sold in the village. Two guitar factories also open their doors to visitors. From the house it is about a ten-minute drive to the beaches and port of Jávea.
