Jávea lies on the coast between Dénia and Cap de la Nau, at the southern foot of the Montgó. Every Thursday morning a street market takes place on the Plaza de la Constitución. For a trip along the coast, Benissa is about 19 km by road from the centre of Jávea, Calp about 28 km and Altea about 41 km.
