Living in Benissa

Benissa has an old centre with monuments that go back centuries. The Franciscan convent dates from 1645 and still has its fortified appearance. The 16th-century Llotja is the oldest monument in the village and now serves as an exhibition hall. Outside the centre, farming is almost entirely dry farming.
