Living in Cumbre del Sol

Cumbre del Sol is a residential urbanisation in the municipality of Benitachell, near the coast south-east of the village. Cala del Moraig, a gravel cove of about 300 m, is tucked in behind the Puig Llorença. Cars cannot drive down to the water: a car park sits at the top of the access road and the last part is on foot. The entire coast of Benitachell falls within a Natura 2000 protected area of limestone cliffs that drop straight into the sea.
