Living in Balcón al Mar

Balcón al Mar is a residential neighbourhood in the south-east of Jávea, close to Cap de la Nau. On Carrer Torre d'Ambolo, within the neighbourhood, stand the Ambolo watchtower and viewpoint. The tower was built in the sixteenth century to guard the coast against pirates. From the viewpoint you look out over the Ambolo cove and the cliffs of the coast. The climate in Jávea is mild, averaging about 18 °C over the year, with the heaviest showers falling in September, October and November.
