Living in Jávea

The INE counted 30,642 inhabitants in the municipality of Jávea in 2025. The town's port dates back to the 15th century, and in the late 19th century fishing became its main activity. Down at the lonja, the harbour's fish market, visitors see the boats return and the catch go under the hammer. From the finca it is about 3 km to the beach and 5 km to the historic centre.
