Inside the home

The design is minimalist and combines modern forms with natural materials. The lounge and dining room receive plenty of daylight and open directly onto terraces with wide views. From the house you look out over the Mediterranean and towards the Peñón de Ifach. In winter the floors heat the house, and in summer a ducted air-conditioning system cools the rooms. An integrated alarm system secures the house, and a lift makes it easy to get around.

The garden is laid out in Zen style with Mediterranean plants, automatic irrigation and LED lighting, so it remains a place to sit after sunset. A summer kitchen makes cooking and dining outside easy, also with guests. The grounds are gated and have two parking spaces.

Living in Benissa

The village of Benissa is home to the neo-Gothic church of the Puríssima Xiqueta, inaugurated in 1929 and known locally as the Cathedral of the Marina. The fortified Franciscan convent from 1645 and the 16th-century Llotja, now an exhibition hall, also mark the old centre. From the villa it is about 2.5 kilometres to La Fustera beach, 5 kilometres to the centres of Benissa and Moraira and 10 kilometres to Calpe.
